Konnichiwa! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my story with you. My name is Minami Shimoji and I am originally from Okinawa, Japan. As a schoolteacher with over 4 years of experience, I can confidently say that teaching is not just a job, but a true passion of mine.

I still vividly remember my first job as a teacher in Tomigusku, Japan, where I discovered my love for teaching and working with kids. It was there that I realized that being strict with my students, while still showing them love and compassion, was the key to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.

My passion for teaching only grew stronger when I moved to Englewood Cliffs, NJ for my second teaching job. There, I had the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures, which challenged me to adapt my teaching style to better suit their individual needs.

Teaching has become my life's work and I couldn't be more grateful. I love coming to work each day, knowing that I have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my students. I believe that through education, we can help children achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.

As a teacher, I am strict but very loving. My students know that I hold them to high standards, but also that I care deeply about their success and well-being. I am passionate about what I do and I am looking forward to teaching for the rest of my career.

Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I hope that my passion for teaching has inspired you in some way. Remember, with hard work, dedication, and a love for what you do, anything is possible. Arigatou gozaimasu! (Thank you very much!)
